Qualifications

Position Summary

EBI Consulting is seeking an early-career Enterprise Applications Developer to join our Information, Automation and Technology team. This role supports the design, development, and continuous improvement of enterprise web and mobile applications, with a strong emphasis on rapid prototyping, user-centered refinement, and AI-enabled solutions. Working closely with the Business Solutions team and cross-functional stakeholders, the position translates business needs into functional application features while providing user support, coordinating project activities, and helping monitor resource utilization and technology costs. Success in this role requires a collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt quickly as business priorities and requirements evolve. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Project Manager, Business Solutions to prototype, refine, and support enterprise web and mobile applications, while also helping manage project tasks and track AI-related operational costs.

This position reports directly to the SVP of IT and is designated hybrid, with in-office expectations in our Burlington, MA corporate headquarters. Candidates must be within commutable distance to Burlington and comfortable working under a hybrid model to be considered.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Application Prototyping & Development: Design, build, and iterate on prototypes for enterprise web-based and mobile applications using industry standard programming languages and development tools.
• Refinement & Iteration: Take early-stage prototypes through cycles of testing and refinement based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business requirements.
• User Support: Provide first-line support to internal users of applications you help build, troubleshooting issues and gathering feedback for improvements.
• Project Task Management: Assist in tracking project tasks, timelines, and deliverables, helping keep initiatives organized and on schedule.
• Cost & Usage Tracking: Help monitor and report on corporate spend related to AI tokens, API usage, and compute resources across projects.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with the Business Solutions team and other stakeholders to translate business needs into functional application features.

Qualifications And Capabilities

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 1-3 years of demonstrated experience using modern programming techniques and languages to build, prototype, or troubleshoot applications — coursework, personal projects, internships, or hackathons all count
• Basic familiarity with programming concepts and techniques (e.g., variables, control flow, functions, basic data structures — any language)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exposure to web or mobile development frameworks (e.g., Python, Javascript, Typescript, or similar) preferred
• Experience using techniques like whiteboarding and scaffolding in application development preferred
• Familiarity with basic project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com) preferred
• Interest in or exposure to enterprise software environments preferred
• Basic understanding of API usage, token-based pricing models, or cloud compute cost structures preferred

The reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position may also be eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered will be based on a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to; geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, knowledge, skills/level, qualifications and budget.
