Job summary

MultiCare Health System seeks an Enterprise Application Analyst III to support Epic Ambulatory and related applications across clinical, financial and administrative workstreams. This role focuses on design, enhancements and production support, with daily tasks spanning configuration, reporting and training.

The successful candidate will bring Epic Ambulatory experience and certification, a relevant degree, and at least four years in healthcare IT applications within hospital or clinic settings.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or vocational/technical program in business, healthcare, or IT.
• Epic Ambulatory certification preferred.
• Minimum four years in IT/healthcare information systems.
• Experience in integrated health care delivery systems favored.

Responsibilities

• Understand and maintain applications configuration, build and database structure.
• Serve as first point of contact for application system issues.
• Identify and isolate system and performance issues using data and analysis.
• Update master files, profiles and dictionaries for DB management.
• Design, code and test screen formats, reports and interfaces.
• Maintain and enhance installed applications and reports within budget.
• Assist with project task assignments and resource coordination.

Position Summary

The Enterprise Application Analyst III is an exciting advanced-level analyst position at MultiCare, with responsibilities in systems, application and training support. Whether you are focused on design, enhancements or support, your work situations will fluctuate between analytical, clinical, financial and administrative responsibilities, offering you dynamic engagement opportunities every day.

Responsibilities

• You will understand and maintain applications configuration, build and database structure assuring database integrity for all systems
• You will operate as the first point of contact for all users on application system issues or problems
• You will identify and isolate the system, application and performance issues utilizing relevant technical criteria, data, critical thinking and methodic rule-out process
• You will update and maintain accurate master files, profiles, dictionaries, and other database management files as required.
• You will design, code and test screen formats, system functions, printed forms, reports, interfaces, programs, etc., to meet user needs
• You will maintain, enhance and modify installed applications and reports, appropriately prioritizing system changes in accordance with MHS objectives and budgetary limits
• You will assist with updates and review of work plans, including task assignments and resource coordination for projects as applicable

Requirements

• Associates degree or vocational/technical program completion in business, healthcare, or Information Technology; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• An equivalent combination of additional qualifying work experience and technical certification or training may be substituted for education
• Clinical/Financial/Technical license or certification (RN, MT, RRT, CPA, OCP, etc.) preferred
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in developing, implementing, operating or maintaining information systems in integrated health care delivery systems including hospitals and/or clinic settings
• Extensive experience (10 or more years) in system/application analyst roles may be considered in lieu of healthcare-specific experience

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $94,910.40 - $131,040.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
