Job summary

Oxy is seeking an Application Configuration Analyst to support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise applications. You will translate business requirements into configurations and collaborate with business users and technical teams to improve ECM and related applications.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field and 2–4 years of experience, with strong analytical and communication skills and familiarity with Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience supporting, configuring, or implementing business or enterprise applications.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical configurations.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with application configuration, testing, and software support.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working in an Agile or similar project environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn the ECM platforms, custom applications, and supporting technologies used within the organization.
• Work with business users to understand requirements and translate them into application configurations and solutions.
• Configure and maintain custom application toolsets to support business processes.
• Assist with application setup, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Support users by investigating issues, troubleshooting problems, and identifying appropriate solutions.
• Participate in gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and application owners to implement enhancements.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), defect tracking, and production support.
• Create and maintain application documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to simplify business processes and improve application usability.
• Learn new technologies and business processes to support the ongoing modernization of enterprise applications.
