Job summary

OpenAI seeks a Technical Field Trainer to deliver hybrid bootcamps and workshops for engineers, architects, and executives across multiple U.S. metros and internationally. You will guide labs, troubleshoot live sessions, and translate AI concepts for diverse audiences.

You will represent OpenAI's brand with credibility and lead regional delivery, collaborating with leadership to continuously improve training outcomes and ensure premium quality.

Qualifications

• Background in technical training or developer education with workshops or bootcamps for professionals.
• Working knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, and AI workflows.
• Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, developer tools and at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/Google).
• Ability to read/modify sample code in Python or JavaScript during sessions.
• Exceptional facilitation and communication skills for engineers and business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led bootcamps, workshops, and live labs to diverse audiences.
• Guide participants through AI developer workflows using APIs, SDKs, and labs.
• Troubleshoot live sessions and API issues in real time.
• Translate complex AI concepts into business-relevant explanations.
• Represent OpenAI with credibility and professionalism across regions and partners.
• Maintain high delivery quality and collaborate with leadership to improve outcomes.
