Job summary

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) seeks a Principal AI Lead to set the enterprise AI strategy, govern AI initiatives, and drive responsible, scalable AI adoption across legal, engineering, analytics and transformation teams. You will pilot use cases, evaluate technologies, and establish MLOps practices to ensure traceability and value.

Qualifications

Eight (8) years of experience in applied data science, including leading ML/AI initiatives and mentoring teams in a production environment.
Master’s or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in leading cross‑functional AI initiatives and developing governance structures.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the organization's AI vision and strategic roadmap with governance and infrastructure needs.
Serve as single point of contact for AI across the organization, guiding capabilities, risks, compliance, opportunities, and platforms/partnerships.
Define and track AI KPIs to measure impact, reliability, and alignment with business outcomes.
Architect enterprise‑grade AI and GenAI solutions, assess infrastructure needs and tool selection.
Lead selection and adoption of AI tools and platforms, balancing innovation with governance and compliance.
Establish and enforce AI governance frameworks ensuring legal, ethical, and responsible AI usage.
Develop and deliver AI solutions from concept to production, promoting reuse and model traceability.
Drive organizational readiness for AI through collaboration with HR and business units.
