Job summary

Gunnison Consulting Group in Washington, DC seeks a Strategic SME & Advisory role to lead AI initiatives across governance, cybersecurity, and automation. You will serve as the organization’s AI SME, identify and implement AI solutions, and design robust multi-agent architectures with reliable workflows.

The role requires deep experience in AI, prompt engineering, and executive-level communication, with a track record of piloting and deploying AI-enabled transformations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, automation, analytics, or related fields.
• Experience implementing AI, Generative AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience with prompt engineering, workflow automation, and AI-enabled productivity solutions.
• Experience leading technology pilots, evaluations, or deployments.
• Experience developing technical documentation, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Assurance, Data Analytics, Business Technology, or related field.
• One or more AI certifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and automation technologies.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement AI solutions to improve cybersecurity, governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Design multi-agent systems with reasoning, memory, planning, and tool-use capabilities.
• Engineer production-grade agent workflows with monitoring, error recovery, and fallback paths.
• Lead AI proof-of-concepts, pilots, and production deployments; automate SOPs and audits.
