Job summary

Aegis AI Security is looking for a Customer Engineer in New York to bridge deep AI fluency with hands-on technical architecture and customer-facing agility. You will drive enterprise technical evaluations and guide API-first installations, ensuring rapid, secure onboarding for prospective customers.

You will translate threat data into compelling executive risk assessments, collaborate with Engineering and Threat Intelligence, and help shape product roadmaps based on real customer needs and edge

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Account Manager in Cybersecurity (Email Security, Cloud Security, SIEM/SOAR, or Identity Management preferred).
• AI & ML fluency with understanding of modern AI architectures, NLP, agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect Enterprise AI Security Solutions with Enterprise Account Executives to design and position platform to CISOs and SecOps leaders.
• Drive API-first onboarding and PoCs to enable seamless, read-only API deployments in minutes.
• Analyze threat reports, benchmark against legacy SEGs, and present audits showing zero-day threats, BEC, and impersonation attempts.
• Master Agentic AI concepts and risk, explain model behavior vs. traditional engines.
• Translate customer feedback and feature requests into the product roadmap with Engineering and Threat Intelligence teams.
