Job summary

Moog Inc. seeks a Corporate AI Security Engineer for its Buffalo, NY hybrid environment.

You will lead the enterprise AI Assurance program, govern internal and third‑party AI usage, and coordinate across IT, Cyber Security, Legal, Compliance, and business units to ensure secure AI adoption. Responsibilities include monitoring AI governance, reporting on usage trends, enforcing policies, and addressing AI security risks while aligning with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred
• 3–5 years in Cyber Security, Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
• Experience with AI/ML tech including LLMs and related security risks
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001 or similar
• Understanding data protection principles incl. data classification, DLP, privacy rules
• Experience monitoring and enforcing enterprise usage policies
• Familiarity with cloud and AI-enabled tools (Copilot, Azure OpenAI)
• Knowledge of third‑party vendor risk management in AI/data handling
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to identify risks and mitigation
• Executive reporting, dashboards, and assurance reporting
• Ability to collaborate with IT, Cyber Security, Legal, Compliance and business
• Knowledge of ITAR, EAR; CMMC is a plus
• Professional certs such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve Moog’s enterprise AI Assurance and Monitoring Program
• Develop and maintain AI policies, standards, procedures
• Monitor AI tool usage for compliance with cyber security governance
• Ensure unauthorized AI software/tools are not used in production
• Collaborate with IT, Cyber Security and business to address AI usage
• Design controls to monitor AI usage: logging, auditing, alerting
• Identify data leakage and AI-related risks
• Deliver monthly AI Assurance reports on usage and risks
• Enforce AI governance standards across stakeholders
• Provide guidance for secure adoption of AI technologies
• Assess AI risks: data exposure, model behavior, prompt injection
• Coordinate remediation for AI security and compliance issues
• Support AI security awareness training and materials
• Report on compliance gaps and remediation opportunities
• Partner with Security Operations to investigate AI incidents
• Stay updated on AI threats and regulatory developments
• Liaise with AI Enablement Committee and IT/business stakeholders to promote governance
