Southern Company seeks an Enterprise Cybersecurity AI Architect to operationalize its AI security vision across the enterprise. You will guard AI models, data pipelines, and agented workflows while collaborating with architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, data, and application teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes security design for AI platforms, threat modeling, guardrails, and defenses across multi-cloud and on-prem environments, with a focus on incident response

Competenze

• Hands-on experience building and securing enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience deploying on Azure cloud data & AI services.
• Familiarity with securing LLMs and agentic workflows.
• Strong analytical and regulatory understanding of AI security.
• Ability to collaborate across architecture, engineering, and business teams.
• Knowledge of cloud and containerized environments.
• Experience with security technologies such as SIEM, PKI, MFA.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls across AI development and deployment.
• Design and maintain guardrails for AI agents to ensure safe, compliant use.
• Architect and secure AI platforms, models, and applications including LLMs and agentic workflows.
• Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for AI systems and translate findings into controls.
• Build secure deployment environments with sandboxing, access control, secrets management, and logging.
• Defend against exfiltration, disclosure, hallucinations, poisoning, and overreliance.
• Establish responsible AI frameworks for fairness and explainability.
• Deploy AI-enabled capabilities to enhance security operations (IR, threat detection, vulnerability management).
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity Cloud, App, and AI Security Manager to execute enterprise strategy.
• Partner with data science and DevSecOps to embed security into AI pipelines.
• Monitor and respond to AI-related security incidents.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
• Plan and deliver cybersecurity tech implementations from requirements to production.
• Help internal customers understand Cybersecurity concepts and processes.
• Maintain knowledge of Cybersecurity trends and best practices.
• Mentor others in Cybersecurity principles.
• Establish relationships across Technology Organization and external vendors.
• Foster accountability, innovation, and engagement.
