Job summary

Ladders is seeking an Enterprise AI Security Advisor to lead the security strategy for AI systems across a leading Pharmaceuticals & Biotech organization. This role partners with technical and executive stakeholders to align safeguards with cybersecurity strategy and business priorities, shaping the enterprise approach to AI security.

You will assess AI-related risk, define practical controls, and guide leadership on the roadmap needed to protect critical AI-enabled systems at scale, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security architecture, with a focus on technical leadership.
• Experience setting technical direction at an enterprise scale and influencing executive decisions.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, application security, and identity management.
• Hands-on experience with AI applications and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Establish a companywide approach to securing AI systems aligned with cybersecurity strategy.
• Maintain a prioritized view of AI security risks and set team priorities accordingly.
• Own the roadmap for AI security controls and report progress to leadership.
• Define security requirements for AI systems, including access and incident response.

For our client, we are seeking a Enterprise AI Security Advisor to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will shape the enterprise approach to securing AI systems, aligning technical safeguards with broader cybersecurity strategy and business priorities.

The position will assess AI-related risk across the organization, define practical controls, and guide leadership on the roadmap needed to protect critical systems.

You will partner with technical and executive stakeholders to set direction, influence decisions, and strengthen security for AI-enabled capabilities at scale.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $129,000 – $231,000 annually
