Job summary

micro1 is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to act as a forward-deployed research partner embedded in enterprise AI systems. You will tackle live workflows, surface failure modes, and drive rapid experimental cycles to improve performance.

The role focuses on embedding in enterprise AI, designing evaluation protocols, and producing actionable analyses for stakeholders in fast iteration cycles.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in CS/ML or related field.
• Strong judgment for research signal quality and evaluation design.
• Experience designing datasets and evaluation frameworks for ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Embed within enterprise AI workflows as a research collaborator.
• Surface and prioritize failure modes in real deployments.
• Design high-signal datasets and evaluation protocols.
• Run rapid experiments to validate hypotheses.
• Produce decision-oriented analyses of system behavior.
• Develop and benchmark agentic workflows for robustness.
• Create lightweight tooling for evaluation and data curation.
• Contribute to research artifacts and benchmarks.
