Job summary

General Motors seeks an Enterprise AI Platform Manager to own the reliability, governance, and evolution of AI search, assistant, agent, and workflow orchestration capabilities across a complex enterprise.

This hybrid role will manage platform roadmaps, standards, availability, performance, security, and lifecycle management, partnering with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver dependable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field.
• 3–7+ years managing or owning an enterprise tech platform in complex environments.
• Experience with enterprise AI/search/agent/workflow platforms.
• Experience defining strategy, roadmaps, governance, and continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of platform reliability, security, privacy, compliance, lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise AI platform capabilities.
• Own platform availability, performance, scalability, security, privacy, and lifecycle management.
• Establish standards for observability, incident management, change management, and service continuity.
• Lead governance, risk assessment, modernization plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, operations, security, and UX in a matrixed global environment.
