Job summary

Intuit is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers who embed with customers to build production automation and turn AI pilots into tangible improvements in general ledger operations. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, applied AI, and enterprise finance in a field role that partners with Sales and Account Management.

You will work across sales, engineering, and customer success on live deals, craft proof-of-value, deploy AI agents, troubleshoot integrations, and travel to customer sites up

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Forward Deployed Engineering or similar customer-embedded role.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks and SQL.
• Comfortable collaborating with product managers and engineers as a peer.
• Track record in managing multiple deployments under delivery pressure.
• Experience leading technical discussions with customers and IT teams.
• Ability to automate and use AI/tools to accelerate value delivery.
• Capable of translating ambiguity into executable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on with prospects to build a working proof-of-value in their data and systems.
• Partner with Account Executives to run technical discovery and ROI proof.
• Architect and deploy customer-specific AI agent configurations to automate accounting processes.
• Perform deep technical troubleshooting (Python, SQL, integrations) and escalate with context.
• Lead transformations with finance teams and travel to customer sites as needed (up to 70%).
• Be the Voice of the Customer, surfacing feedback to Product and Engineering.
