Job summary

Karsun Solutions is actively supporting VA digital modernization, delivering enterprise AI capabilities across a multi-platform environment. The role focuses on AI-enabled development, automation, and secure integration with platforms like Salesforce, Power Platform, Pega, and Appian, while protecting PII/PHI under HIPAA and VA privacy rules.

The candidate will drive design and implementation, work within agile teams, and ensure security approvals through DTC processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. 10 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and maintaining AI capabilities in enterprise environments, including AI-assisted development, automation, or decision-support solutions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Public Trust background investigation.
• Available on contract award and willing to sign a letter of commitment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AI capabilities, including AI-assisted development, automation, and decision-support solutions, aligned with business objectives and operational baselines.
• Integrate AI technologies across the DTC enterprise platforms (Salesforce/MuleSoft, Microsoft Power Platform/Dynamics, Pega, Box, Appian), including platform-native AI features and API-based integrations.
• Apply AI-enabled code generation, automated testing, configuration recommendations, and code quality analysis within agile delivery teams, with human oversight and accountability for every deliverable.
• Lead enterprise AI integrations, validate performance, and provide technical guidance while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Educate teams on best practices, responsible use, and secure implementation of AI, including protection of PII and PHI under HIPAA and VA privacy requirements.
• Support security and ATO documentation for AI components so they clear DTC architecture and security approval gates.
