Job summary
Eastern is seeking a junior to mid-level AI Engineer to develop and scale enterprise AI capabilities across the bank. Responsibilities include building AI agents, RAG pipelines, and prompt systems, and enabling AI tools within embedded business divisions.
The role blends technical development with business enablement. The position requires 1–4 years in software/data/ML and experience with LLM platforms (Claude/OpenAI/Gemini) and Microsoft/Azure tech.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/Data Science/Info Systems or related field.
- 1–4 years of software/data/ML experience.
- Experience with LLMs and enterprise cloud/tools.
- Hands-on AI/LLM platforms experience (Claude/OpenAI/Gemini).
- Experience with prompt engineering and AI agents.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and automated workflows.
- Create scalable retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and prompt frameworks.
- Prototype and productionize AI solutions for bank operations.
- Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into technical specs.
- Support governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
