Job summary

Visa seeks an experienced professional to blend strategic architecture consulting with hands-on AI solution engineering. You will define enterprise architectures, advise on technology strategy, and build production-grade AI systems, while acting as a trusted technology advisor and technical lead for AI-powered solutions.

The role covers both architecture and delivery, requiring strong collaboration with executives and engineering teams.

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture.
Strong hands-on development skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
Experience designing large-scale enterprise software solutions.
Deep knowledge of APIs, microservices, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and integration architectures.
Hands-on experience with: LLM applications, RAG architectures, Agentic AI systems, Vector databases, AI orchestration frameworks, Enterprise AI security and governance.
Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting experience.
English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).

Responsibilities

Design target-state architectures for digital platforms, cloud modernization, and payment solutions.
Lead architecture reviews, technical assessments, and vendor evaluations.
Produce architecture artifacts including blueprints, diagrams, and technical recommendations.
Own solution delivery from architecture through development, deployment, and continuous improvement.
