Cohere is seeking Applied AI Engineers to own the design, build, and deployment of agentic AI workflows powered by LLMs for enterprise customers. You will collaborate with customers, product, and platform teams to deliver production-grade agents that integrate with tools, APIs, and data sources.

The role demands strong Python/JavaScript skills, 3+ years building production software, and hands-on experience with LLMs, evaluation, and performance optimization. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience building and shipping production software; 2+ years working with LLMs or AI APIs.
• Hands-on experience with modern LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini), vector databases, and agent/orchestration frameworks.

• Design and build LLM-powered agents that reason, plan, and act across tools and data sources with enterprise-grade reliability.
• Turn business workflows into scalable, production-ready agentic AI systems for enterprise customers.
• Define and apply evaluation standards to measure success, failures, and regressions.
• Debug real-world agent behavior and improve prompts, workflows, tools, and guardrails.
• Contribute to shared frameworks and patterns to enable consistent delivery across customers.
