Job summary

The Consensus is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers to help customers deploy AI agents that act in real systems at scale. It is about transforming demos into production-grade, governed solutions across Fortune 100 environments.

You will combine deep technical fluency with business acumen to design architectures, run PoCs, and guide customers through security reviews and governance considerations, while shaping AI strategy and adoption.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or architecture roles.
Deep integration and systems architecture fluency across enterprise tools.
Hands-on coding with APIs and modern languages.
Strong business acumen and ability to explain complex tech to executives.
Willingness to evangelize and present at conferences or write technical content.
Active use of AI in daily workflows and mastering agentic AI concepts.

Responsibilities

Act as the Technical Authority in customer engagements and lead technical discovery.
Design and build prototypes, PoCs, and reference architectures showing real AI actions.
Translate abstract infra concepts into clear, value-driven customer solutions.
Provide market feedback to product and engineering to shape the roadmap.
Drive technical wins during deals ranging from $200K+ to seven figures.
Stay at the bleeding edge of AI stacks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Vector DBs) to advise customers.
