Job Description

NBC Sports Next is hiring an Enterprise Account Manager, who will be a key driver and resource in developing, managing, and executing its enterprise account management and sport vertical strategy for the core sports of Baseball and Softball. This professional will work cross-functionally with the sales, product development, safety, and marketing teams to manage, upsell, secure renewals, and create a high-level customer experience across their portfolio of enterprise accounts. This person will have an eye on revenue and driving best-in-class account management practices across their owned accounts to create value for our sport vertical partners.

Job Duties
  1. Collaborate across business functions to develop, establish, and execute the company’s enterprise account management and sport vertical strategy.
  2. Own a book of business that includes the top baseball, softball enterprise accounts.
  3. Provide consultative feedback and advice to help create the best possible experience for our customers and their entire organization.
  4. Liaise with the product development, safety, and marketing teams to ideate and create strategic account management assets.
  5. Hold regular account reviews and promote adoption of all SportsEngine services.
  6. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in SAAS Account Management, with a track record as a leader, collaborator, and innovator.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering value and superior customer service.
  • Experience in developing account review plans and presentations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively.
  • Willingness to travel to engage prospects and partners.
  • Naturally curious, positive, and enthusiastic.
  • Empathetic, solutions-oriented, and passionate about servicing customers.
  • A self-starter and problem solver, a team player.
Desired Characteristics
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a matrixed organization and collaborating across key cross-functional roles, including Strategic Planning, Business Development, Content, Project, and Product Management.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the sport landscape, including trends related to USOPC, NGBs, SafeSport, and tier one sport revenue verticals.
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime, including weekends with short notice.
  • This position is fully remote, contributing from an employee’s residence.
  • Eligible for company-sponsored benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other perks.

Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 Base + 43% Sales Incentive.
