Enterprise Account Executive, Upper Mid-Market at Checkr - Dallas, TX
Checkr, Inc. is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive, Upper Mid-Market based in Dallas, TX to own new logo growth within its Enterprise segment (companies with 5,000+ employees). With over 140,000 companies - including Uber, Airbnb, DoorDash, and Anthropic - relying on Checkr's AI verification platform, this full-cycle sales role combines high-complexity deal orchestration with hands-on outbound prospecting and post-sale activation.
What You'll Do
- Own new business sales across an assigned book of 200-300 accounts, sourcing a meaningful share of pipeline through your own outbound motion alongside your BDR.
- Run full-cycle Enterprise deals - multi-thread across the buying committee, quarterback internal resources (Product, SE, CS, Support, Executives), and shepherd the deal from first outreach to close.
- Build real-time, back-of-napkin ROI models that quantify prospect pain in financial terms and anchor negotiations on outcomes rather than features.
- Negotiate and close annual contracts ranging from $50K to $1M.
- Lead post-sale activation planning: document ramp milestones and consumption targets before the deal closes, setting the CS team up to execute.
- Use AI tools operationally for account research, pipeline management, and prospecting - not merely for experimentation.
- Develop internal champions and sell the deal internally when resources or approvals are needed.
- Travel to meet prospects and customers at events, meals, or their facilities.
What You Bring
- A proven track record of closing complex Enterprise accounts, with specific multi-year quota attainment you can speak to.
- A self-sourced outbound motion - not solely reliant on inbound leads or BDR-generated pipeline.
- Experience selling to both EVPs/CXOs and end-users within the same cycle, with the ability to communicate in an executive register.
- Demonstrated ability to quantify business value and build ROI cases with prospects.
- Experience owning post-sale handoff and ramp/activation planning, ideally within consumptive or volume-based pricing models.
- Resourcefulness - you find the answer rather than waiting on bandwidth from SE, CS, or BDR teams that isn't guaranteed.
- Hands-on, operational use of AI tools to scale your own output.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- B2B solutions sales experience, preferably to HR buyers.
- An A-player mindset: urgency, resilience through ambiguity, and a strong bias for action and ownership.
