Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Access Control, this Enterprise Access Specialist - Access Control acts as a primary contact for the VS&A VAM team's selling initiatives with end customers within the assigned territory. The specialist proactively manages customer relationships, deploying sales strategies to grow business and meet revenue goals. Working alongside the VAM team, this role will drive access control revenue and serve as the internal expert in the access control marketplace.

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Maintain and grow an operational and security mindset regarding access control within enterprise accounts. Collaborate effectively with sales professionals within VS&A.
  2. Work with the VAM team and leadership to increase market share and revenue in access control.
  3. Develop and maintain meaningful relationships within enterprise accounts relevant to security and access control, identifying potential opportunities.
  4. Assist the enterprise account team in identifying key partners/end-users and provide resources to engage contacts effectively.
  5. Identify product gaps for Product Management to address for greater exposure/standardization in the market.
  6. Manage resources such as demo equipment, marketing budgets, travel budgets, etc.
  7. Create standardized market presentations and sales tools for the access control offerings.
  8. Gather and report data on competitive products and pricing, maintaining knowledge of competitors.
Qualifications
  1. 5+ years of experience in Access Control, preferably with enterprise account focus.
  2. Strong technical knowledge and ability to discuss our products and solutions confidently.
  3. Proven achievement in results delivery and relationship development.
  4. Understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy.
  5. Excellent time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Willingness to travel throughout North America as needed.
Additional Details
  • Territory: Enterprise Access Specialist - Access Control - Education West, covering enterprise accounts across the US.
  • Travel: Approximately 75% by air and car.
  • Salary Range: $67,100 - $148,400, dependent on experience and skills.
  • Basic Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of access control sales experience.
  • Travel Requirements: 50-75%
  • Relocation: Not provided.
  • Position Type: Experienced.
  • Referral Payment Plan: Yes.
