Job summary

Refuah Health Center is seeking an ENT physician to join our team in Spring Valley, NY. The role includes evaluation, treatment, and surgical management of ENT conditions, with a focus on patient education and coordinated care.

Responsibilities include maintaining EMR, staying current with otolaryngology advances, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes. Daytime hours with potential evening and weekend shifts may occur.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• BLS certificate.
• Active NY DEA Registration.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Otolaryngology.
• Board certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
• Valid state medical license to practice as an ENT Physician in NYS.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and empathetically interact with patients and their families.
• Strong commitment to professional growth, staying current with the latest advancements in otolaryngology.

• Evaluates patient skin conditions by screening for disease.
• Utilizes patient medical history as part of skin assessments.
• Prescribes medication for the treatment of skin conditions.
• Performs noninvasive surgical procedures on the skin.
• Refers patients to advanced specialists.
• Provides patient education on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive measures, ensuring their active involvement in their own healthcare.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant observations.
• Stays abreast of the latest advancements and research in dermatology through continuous professional development and participation in conferences and workshops.
• Adheres to ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance.
• Other job functions as needed.
