Job summary

The Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the ENT Department. You will provide nursing care to assigned patients under RN supervision and contribute to patient assessment and care planning.

This full-time role requires a valid LPN license and BLS, strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility to work days under the care plan. EMR experience and ENT/pediatrics experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a practical nursing program with LPN license.
• One year LPN experience within last five years preferred; ENT, tracheostomy, and pediatrics helpful.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and teamwork.
• Computer skills; experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients under RN supervision.
• Assist in patient assessment and care planning; contribute to care plans.
• Communicate observations to the RN and provider to support patient needs.
• Participate in quality improvement projects as needed.
