Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Gonda Building - ENT Department of Otorhinolaryngology in Minnesota. The LPN will provide nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of an RN or supervisor and participate as a member of the health care team.

The role requires excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team, and flexibility with hours. BLS certification must be valid within 90 days of start; LPN license is required by state rules.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license as per state requirements.
• BLS certification valid for 90 days post start.
• Experience in ENT/tracheostomy/pediatrics preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients under RN supervision.
• Collect data through observation and assist in assessment and care planning.
• Deliver care according to the care plan and policies.
• Mentoring and instruction as part of the team.
