Job summary

Midwest ENT Specialists in Minnesota is looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA, CMA) to join their team. This role involves performing various medical assisting tasks, maintaining patient care, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from a Medical Assistant program, be eligible for CMA certification, and possess strong communication skills. The position offers a supportive work environment and a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to be Certified as a Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Willing to travel between clinic locations across Minnesota/Wisconsin.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• BLS or CPR certified or willing to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine office procedures safely and effectively.
• Maintain laboratory area and equipment logs.
• Collect updated patient information and chart patient exams in the EMR.
• Handle private health information as per HIPAA guidelines.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Assist healthcare professionals in exams and minor procedures.
• Provide patient education and communicate physician instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
