Job summary

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking an Assistant Case Manager I in the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic in Anchorage. You will support case management through scheduling, receiving, and coordinating patient flow within the department.

You will work under supervision to handle records, referrals, and interdepartmental coordination, ensuring timely patient access to ENT services and accurate charting.

Responsibilities

• Supports scheduling, reception, and records maintenance within the ENT clinic.
• Coordinates patient referrals and ensures follow-up after provider visits.
• Assists with routine referrals, scheduling diagnostic studies and clinic appointments.
• Assists nursing staff with admissions, orders, and documentation.
• Maintains charts and medical records for scheduled appointments or as requested.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and updates patient records accordingly.
• Performs clerical duties and communicates with other departments to coordinate care.
