Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, seeks a Director of Student Services and Enrollment for the Center for Sport Leadership to oversee admissions, recruitment, and enrollment operations. You will be the first contact for prospective students and guide applicants through the admissions process toward graduation.

Responsibilities include coordinating applications, communicating with applicants, managing interviews and decisions, developing marketing content, coordinating course

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal and written communication; customer service oriented.
• Extensive administrative experience and ability to prioritize.
• Knowledge of university organizations and processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office; ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt of prospective students’ applications and documents.
• Communicate with students regarding applications and manage admissions interviews/decisions.
• Support marketing and recruitment efforts for programs; create content for website/social media.
• Manage course scheduling and degree progress for on-campus and online students; assist with class lists and syllabi.
• Provide front-desk and office administration support for the Center.
