The University of South Carolina Upstate seeks an Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management to provide strategic leadership for student recruitment, enrollment, and retention initiatives, and to oversee data-informed planning and enrollment systems.

The role collaborates across campus to align admissions, registrar, financial aid, and graduate programs, with emphasis on veterans services and program growth, ensuring timely degree completion and an excellent student experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and at least 10 years of job related experience, including some prior management experience.
• Experience in admissions, public relations, sales or another student personnel area preferred.
• Salary Range: $109,496 – $124,005; Salary commensurate with education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for enrollment management and related systems.
• Develop and evaluate an integrated enrollment system emphasizing data-driven decision making.
• Lead registrar operations including student records review and degree progress.
• Collaborate across campus to link enrollment and persistence with student experience.
• Oversee veterans education benefits administration and compliance.
• Represent enrollment services on cabinet and committees.
• Hire, train, and coach staff in the records office.
• Support graduate recruitment and program growth.
