University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's School of Information Sciences (iSchool) invites applications for a 100% full-time Director of Recruitment and Admissions. The role leads recruitment, admissions, and yield for multiple programs with a data-driven, strategic approach.

The position oversees staff, reporting, and budget decisions, collaborates with several units, and supports a wide range of degree programs and initiatives to attract a diverse student body.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Higher Education, or related field.
• Five years’ experience in Admissions, Recruiting, or Enrollment Management.
• Experience with data-driven decision making in customer-focused environments.
• Experience in creating messaging for recruitment campaigns in a variety of modalities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead robust recruitment and yield campaigns for relevant degree programs.
• Work with units to strategically develop a budget for recruiting and yield activities and evaluate ROI.
• Provide regular application progress reports and planning documents to senior leadership and faculty.
• Oversee admissions review for relevant degree programs and monitor effectiveness of practices.
• Manage off-campus transfer requirements and coordinate the appeal process for denied applicants.
• Serve as liaison to campus committees related to admissions and enrollment management.
