Job summary

Excellus Health Plan Inc. is seeking an Enrollment Specialist to perform core processing and servicing of broker, member, and employer group enrollments.

Compliance with HIPAA and enrollment regulations is required, with a focus on prompt and accurate response across multiple channels including phone, email, and in-person inquiries. The role supports government programs and various employer groups, handling new enrollments, renewals, and member movements under established guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years health insurance or related operations experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multi-task and meet service level agreements (SLA).

Responsibilities

• Process group enrollment, member enrollments, and changes using enrollment systems.
• Respond to inquiries from brokers, members, and employers.
• Maintain accuracy of enrollment data and eligibility interfaces.
• Support cross-functional teams and document procedures.
• Provide timely responses to inquiries to meet SLA targets.
