Job summary

Care First is looking for an Enrollment Specialist to work in The Bronx, engaging with potential participants and guiding them through the enrollment process. The role requires strong communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, and a passion for helping underserved populations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in enrollment, healthcare outreach, or customer service.
• Familiarity with Medicaid populations and social service programs preferred.
• Ability to engage individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eligibility screenings via phone, text, or email.
• Educate participants on available programs and assist with forms.
• Document participant interactions in CRM and maintain records.
• Achieve enrollment goals and maintain follow-up with participants.
• Coordinate transitions to care management or service delivery teams.
• Participate in outreach events to increase enrollment opportunities.
