Enrollment Specialist (Remote)

Support student success at Uplift Michigan Online School through proactive enrollment outreach and relationship building.

Position Overview

Are you passionate about education and motivated by helping families find the right school fit? Uplift Michigan Online School is hiring a people-first, results-driven Enrollment Specialist to guide prospective families through a supportive and efficient enrollment process.

In this remote role, you'll blend customer service, sales, and administrative skills to manage your own pipeline of leads, provide personalized guidance, and help families take the next step toward joining our tuition-free, flexible K–12 online program. You’ll play a vital role in helping students access the education they deserve—while driving school growth and success.

Uplift Michigan Online School is a tuition-free K–12 public charter school serving students across Michigan through high-quality, flexible virtual education. The school is designed to meet the needs of diverse learners in a supportive online environment that fosters academic success and personal growth.

Uplift is authorized by Stephenson Area Public Schools and operated in partnership with NextLvl Management, which provides operational, academic, and enrollment support.

Their mission is to empower all students to be successful learners who make positive contributions to their communities within a caring environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Engagement & Follow-Up

  • Promptly connect with new inbound leads via phone, email, SMS, and LiveChat
  • Qualify leads based on enrollment readiness and assign segmentation within CRM
  • Maintain a consistent follow-up cadence to build trust and drive conversion
  • Re-engage cold or inactive leads with personalized outreach


Enrollment Pipeline Ownership

  • Own a personal pipeline of prospective families and meet monthly/quarterly enrollment targets
  • Guide families through the enrollment process, addressing questions and next steps
  • Communicate the value of Uplift’s programs with clarity and care
  • Address objections with empathy and a solutions-first mindset


Responsive Communication

  • Respond to all inbound inquiries professionally and promptly across channels
  • Share accurate and timely information about curriculum, policies, enrollment steps, and deadlines


CRM Management & Reporting

  • Accurately document all activity, conversations, and statuses in the CRM in real-time
  • Keep enrollment dashboards, spreadsheets, and reports up to date
  • Maintain clean and organized records for visibility and tracking


Retention & Referral Support

  • Assist with outreach to current families to encourage ongoing engagement and satisfaction
  • Promote the school’s referral program and encourage participation from current families


Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with marketing, admissions, and school leaders to align messaging and outreach
  • Share ongoing feedback on lead quality, objections, and process improvements

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ year of experience in sales, admissions, customer service, or enrollment
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance targets
  • Proficient with technology and quick to learn new systems
  • Michigan residence required


Preferred:

  • Experience in K–12 or online education environments
  • Familiarity with CRMs such as ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, or Salesforce
