Job summary

North Shore Community College is seeking a Clerk V, Enrollment Specialist in the Admissions and Enrollment Management area. The role focuses on welcoming students, guiding them through admission, registration, and records processes while maintaining accurate data in Banner and related systems.

The position supports campus operations, collaborates with multiple offices, and may require occasional evening/weekend coverage to assist with enrollment events and campus visits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and at least 2 years in an enrollment services office or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; accurate data entry.
• Knowledge of accounting basics and strong numerical skills.
• Ability to work in a team with energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
• Experience with Banner or integrated student database systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students and parents via phone, in person, email, and virtual platforms.
• Assist with admissions, registration, transcripts, and enrollment verification processes.
• Manage student records in Banner and Navigate; scan/index documents.
• Support cross-training of staff and coverage for Enrollment Specialists.
• Coordinate communications and reminders for enrollment activities and events.
