Job summary

Loyola University New Orleans seeks admission staff to recruit students through on- and off-campus visits, calls, and events. Positions are campus-based in New Orleans, LA, with extensive fall and spring travel and some weekends required.

You will counsel prospective students, communicate Loyola's programs and financial aid options, and develop relationships across university divisions to meet recruitment goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of one year admissions, sales, public-relations, or customer-service experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work beyond standard hours.
• Licensed driver with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and recruit Loyola University New Orleans students and families.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of the University to communicate to prospective students.
• Inform and counsel about admissions, financial aid, programs and campus life.
• Build positive relationships with divisions, staff, students and alumni.
• Travel to events and manage recruitment duties as assigned.
