Job summary

Cal State East Bay in Hayward is seeking a Student Outreach professional to generate and cultivate prospective students within a defined market, including high schools and community colleges across California. You will guide inquiries and support enrollment goals as part of a collaborative team.

Under the Outreach Director, you will present at events, conduct visits, and maintain ongoing communication with schools, families, and counselors to convert prospects into applicants and enrolled

Qualifications

• Equivalent of one year of professional Student Services work at the entry trainee level.
• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in behavioral sciences, public or business administration, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel frequently across California and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Generate, cultivate, and yield new student inquiries from a defined market through outreach and recruitment activities.
• Deliver presentations at college fairs and events; advise and report on prospect generation and conversion.
• Input and manage student interactions in Salesforce; maintain relationships with high schools and community colleges.
