Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in San Antonio, TX, is seeking an Enrollment Manager to lead the enrollment team toward quarterly new student goals. The role emphasizes market awareness, outreach events, and data-driven forecasting.

You will oversee admissions and financial aid operations, coach staff, and partner with the Operations Leader to improve daily processes. A Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated leadership in enrollment management are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with CRM systems and data analysis preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Understand local market and competitive environment relative to Galen’s goals.
• Increase community presence and develop new recruitment strategies and outreach initiatives (Open Houses, College Fairs, events).
• Develop quarterly admissions and financial aid forecasts; lead teams to meet enrollment goals.
• Improve student enrollment experience and engagement across admissions, financial aid, and registration.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive enrollment strategy to manage applications through enrollment.
• Utilize CRM systems for monitoring metrics and reporting.
• Oversee admissions and financial aid enrollment operations including hiring, training, and development of team members.
• Provide regular performance feedback and action plans.
• Assist Operations Leader in improving day-to-day processes.
• Assist with accrediting agency reports as relates to Enrollment.
• Perform other duties to support campus administrative services.
• Assist with graduation ceremonies and new student orientations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Goal

The Enrollment Manager will motivate, lead, and support the enrollment team in meeting or exceeding quarterly new student enrollment goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand the composition of the local market and competitive environment relative to Galen’s goals and objectives.
2. Increase community presence and develop new recruitment strategies and outreach initiatives to include Enrollment Workshops, Open Houses, College Fairs and Community & HCA Events.
3. Develop quarterly admissions and financial aid forecasts; build, lead, and motivate the teams to ensure that enrollment goals are met.
4. Evaluate and improve the practices of the student enrollment experience, including timely, effective, and positive engagement with students and families throughout the entirety of their experiences with admissions, financial aid, and registration.
5. Develop and implement a comprehensive, action-oriented enrollment strategy to manage applications through the enrollment process.
6. Utilize CRM systems for monitoring metrics and reporting purposes.
7. Oversee all aspects of admissions and financial aid enrollment operations including hiring, training, and developing of new and existing team members.
8. Evaluate individual team member’s performance on a frequent basis through observations and other coaching opportunities. Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual performance feedback and plans of action, as needed.
9. Assist the Operations Leader in improving the processes of the day-to-day operations of the department.
10. Assist in preparation of accrediting agency reports as it relates to Enrollment.
11. Perform other duties as needed to support the administrative services of the campus.
12. Assist with graduation ceremonies and/or new student orientations, as needed.
13. Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience

• Leadership experience with current best practices in enrollment management, admissions, financial aid, or registration preferred.
• Experience with process-improvement initiatives and leadership in change-management environments preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required.
• CRM experience preferred.

Special Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, integrity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external constituents.

Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment

Must be able to work flexible schedule to include some evenings and occasional weekends. Ability to travel to local outside businesses, education institutions, etc. Must be able to sit at a desk for eight hours at a time.
