Job summary

The Undergraduate Admissions Counselor at the University of New England is a frontline enrollment professional who builds relationships with prospective students and families and guides them from inquiry through enrollment. The role manages an assigned recruitment territory and aims to meet fall and spring enrollment targets.

With support from UNE’s enrollment and marketing teams, the counselor conducts targeted outreach, maintains a high-volume pipeline, uses Slate CRM data to track engagement,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Ability to travel extensively, including evenings and weekends, with valid driver’s license.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume outreach and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned recruitment territory and meet fall and spring enrollment targets.
• Identify and prioritize prospective students; implement targeted outreach via phone, email, text, and in-person engagement.
• Represent UNE through high school visits, college fairs, and campus events to generate inquiries.
• Maintain CRM records of recruitment activities and report on pipeline status with leadership.
• Engage prospective students and families through appointments, campus visits, and information sessions.
