Job summary

New Beginnings High School seeks a Director of Retention and Engagement to lead enrollment growth and family engagement. The role partners with the Principal and Directors to drive outreach, enrollment workflows, and retention strategies across campus.

The position emphasizes data-driven decision making, confidential handling of student information, and collaboration with families, staff, and community partners to ensure a positive NBHS student experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, communications, marketing, public administration, social work, or a related field preferred; equivalent directly related experience may be considered.
• Minimum six (6) years of progressive experience in student enrollment, admissions, family engagement, recruitment, or related operations.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or strategic growth experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead enrollment growth, family retention, and engagement initiatives with Principal and Directors.
• Own and manage inquiry-to-enrollment pipeline, forms, campus tours, and conversion tracking.
• Ensure timely contact, accurate information, and clear NBHS session explanations to prospects.
• Develop a structured follow-up cadence to document outreach within timelines.
• Track enrollment indicators: inquiries, tours, applications, conversions, and retention risks.
• Coordinate with leadership to identify disengagement risks and plan re-engagement.
