Job summary

American Fidelity is seeking a data-focused professional in the OKC metro area to support Enrollment Solutions. You will query data from Oracle, MS SQL Server and other databases, and design and operate Enrollment EDI processes.

The role requires 3-5 years of database development experience, a Bachelor's in CS or related field, and the ability to work independently or in a team, communicating technical and non-technical details clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area; 4+ years experience in database development in lieu of degree.
• 3-5 years experience in database development and enrollment/payroll systems.
• Skilled in developing ETL and SQL processes that are efficient and meet department expectations.
• Strong knowledge of EDI technology, tactics and processes.
• Capable of working independently or in a team to deliver solutions and adapt to new environments and tools.
• Excellent communication of ideas, specifications and status updates to technical and non-technical professionals.
• Knowledgeable of department databases (Access, SQL Server, etc.).
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and motivation.
• Skilled in developing queries and stored procedures via SQL scripts.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Query data from database systems such as Oracle, MS SQL Server or other DBMS.
• Provide support for Enrollment EDI processing, including design and operations.
• Responsible for daily EDI operations for the Enrollment Solutions department.
