Job summary

American Fidelity is seeking an intern to support the Enterprise Data & Innovation department in Oklahoma City. The role involves data integration, database design, software programming, testing, reporting and data analysis, with presentation of findings to stakeholders.

You’ll work closely with a manager and team, developing BI solutions while learning cloud and on-prem environments. Ideal candidates graduate May 2027 or later, can enter the office, and start January 2027 for up to a year.

Qualifications

• Data modeling knowledge
• Experience with at least one statistical programming tool (R/SAS/Python)
• Experience with at least one data visualization tool (Qlik/PowerBI/Tableau)
• Graduating May 2027 or after
• Available to come into the office during the internship
• Must be available to intern January 2027 for up to a year
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
• Problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Competent business etiquette and business ethics
• History of entrepreneurial and innovative efforts
• Strong experience with MS Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly, especially technology

Responsibilities

• Support Enterprise Data & Innovation department's technical functions
