Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an Enrollment Coordinator to partner with Revenue Cycle Analysts and billing specialists to support carrier enrollment functions for our medical staff. The primary function is to support enrollment tasks across multiple insurance and health plans.

The role includes enrolling providers with commercial payers, assisting with enrollment applications, resolving inquiries with plans, and updating credentialing tables in Athena.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and at least 2 years of credentialing experience in a medical setting.
• Experience with personal information handling and patient confidentiality.
• Experience with electronic medical record software Athena is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with commercial payers to enroll providers in insurance plans.
• Assist providers in completing enrollment applications for commercial payers.
• Serve as liaison between health plans and the organization to resolve enrollment inquiries.
• Update provider and payer credentialing tables in Athena.
• Understand provider billing processes for commercial payers.
• Develop internal enrollment processes.
• Provide frequent status updates to Revenue Cycle Team and Operations Leaders.
• Collaborate with Provider Services, Revenue Cycle Management and Field Operations.
