Job summary

Orenda Education is seeking a Director of Community Relations & Development to design and lead a comprehensive community relations, marketing, and fundraising program. The role focuses on growing student enrollment and securing supplemental funding to support Orenda Education and the Orenda Charter School District.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business Admin, Journalism or closely related field.
• CFRE certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, public relations, brand management, or fundraising/development, preferably in education or youth services.

Responsibilities

• Directs public relations and acts as primary media liaison and advisory to the Superintendent on communications.
• Leads district‑wide community events and landmark campaigns.
• Oversees internal communications framework and branding consistency.
• Develops data‑driven marketing campaigns to meet enrollment targets.
• Leads major gift campaigns, donor stewardship, and fundraising events.
