Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of customer service experience in healthcare.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide members through enrollment process.
• Verify eligibility prior to enrollment.
• Validate eligibility within 24 hours of new chart setup.
• Validate eligibility for future appointments on a weekly basis.
• Explain coverage details to members (co-pays, deductibles, out-of-pocket max).
• Initiate initial prior authorization and coordinate with Quality Management.
• Coordinate with claims/billing to ensure accurate processing of claims.
