Job summary

Western Welding Academy in Gillette, WY seeks a Student Selection Representative to guide prospective students from first contact to start day, using sales ability and people skills. This full-time role mirrors the mission of rebuilding America's skilled workforce.

You will build relationships with families, explain training value, and guide applicants through onboarding, housing, financial aid, loan options, and payment plans, while maintaining accurate CRM records and meeting enrollment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, people and presentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse people.
• Solid organization, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of welding or trade education is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Guide prospective students through enrollment from first interest to day one of class.
• Build real relationships with students and families and communicate value of training.
• Close enrollment opportunities using strong sales and timely follow-up.
• Support onboarding details, housing documents, financial aid applications, loan options, and payment plans.
• Keep clean records and track activity in the CRM.
• Hit enrollment targets and report on lead conversion and completion metrics.
• Collaborate with Student Selection and other departments for a smooth experience.
