Ivy Tech Community College in Columbus is offering a part-time student internship to support enrollment and advising processes. The role involves coordinating outreach, scheduling appointments, and guiding students through knowledge assessments under supervision.

The internship runs nine months during the academic year, averaging about 20 hours per week, with supervision provided by the Director of Academic Advising and Enrollment Services. Preference given to human services related fields.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled at Ivy Tech Community College or another accredited higher education institution.
• Preference for studies in human services, social work, psychology/counseling, health education, or related fields.
• Strong communication and confidentiality abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in group settings.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate enrollment and advising activities with the enrollment center and academic advising.
• Reach out to targeted students to assist with enrollment steps and scheduling appointments.
• Assist with knowledge assessment logistics and directing students to Ed Ready resources.
• Provide outreach to newly applied students with warm welcomes and contact guidance.
• Use reports to identify reminders and track completion of Knowledge Assessments.
• Schedule appointments with Student Support Professionals or Academic Advisors.
