Job summary

Learning Care is hiring Assistant Teachers in the Washington, DC area. This role supports daily care, follows licensing standards, and maintains a safe, engaging classroom environment. You’ll observe and plan for children, communicating with families to support development and learning.

The position emphasizes growth through training and hands-on experience. We offer a structured schedule, bipartisan benefits, and pathways to elevate with our Master Teacher program as part of a supportive team

Qualifications

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure daily care of every child.

Assistant Teachers:

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation range of $18.49-$19.21 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
• Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401K (plus company match), life and disability insurance and child care discount available to all employees
• Monday-Friday work week
