Job summary

Ocean Community YMCA in Westerly-Pawcatuck is seeking a Part-Time Enrichment & STEAM Instructor to spark curiosity in young minds through science, creativity, and hands-on learning. You will lead STEAM and SEL activities, create a safe, inclusive learning environment, and collaborate with staff to support youth development.

Ideal candidates have experience with children and a passion for education, with CPR/AED and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children (STEAM background preferred).
• Enthusiasm for education, creativity, and community-building.
• CPR/AED & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.

As part of our youth enrichment team, you'll lead engaging STEAM and social-emotional learning (SEL) activities in a supportive, inclusive environment. We're looking for energetic individuals with experience working with children and a love for science, arts, or education.
