Job summary

Concorde Education partners with schools and community organizations to provide engaging enrichment programs that inspire curiosity, creativity, confidence, and lifelong learning. We seek enthusiastic instructors from diverse backgrounds to provide instructional services for elementary through high school students as independent contractors.

Assignments vary by school and may include STEM, coding, digital arts, fine arts, chess, cooking, sports, and study skills; roles are rolling opportunities

Qualifications

• 60 completed college credits or equivalent professional experience required.
• Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs preferred.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in schools or community settings helpful.
• Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills essential.
• Reliable, professional, and organized work habits expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction.
• Prepare for each session using approved lesson plans or provided curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage active student participation across ages and learning styles.
• Maintain supervision and classroom management throughout sessions.
• Communicate with school personnel and Concorde Education representatives regarding attendance and needs.
• Follow school policies, safety expectations, and emergency protocols.
• Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled sessions.
