Right At School is seeking an Educator in Connecticut to support before- and after-school programs for students. You will help plan activities, lead curriculum-aligned sessions, and ensure a safe, engaging environment that fosters a love of learning.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication with families and school staff, and a commitment to healthy living while meeting program goals.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, updates, progress, collaboration, and accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities aligned with program objectives.
• Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum for all ages.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and model positive guidance.
• Prioritize safety, monitor hazards, and document attendance/incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
