Job summary

Right At School is seeking an Educator in New York to support before/after school programs. Shifts run Monday through Friday mornings and afternoons in local schools, delivering engaging activities and fostering a safe, welcoming environment for children.

Ideal applicants have at least 1 year of experience with children under 13, a High School diploma or GED, and a passion for inspiring a love of learning. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will have outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25lbs and manage physical activity in a classroom setting.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, updates, and progress with the team.
• Organize and Facilitate Daily Activities: plan curriculum, lead activities and fitness sessions.
• Leading by Example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment and positive guidance.
• Prioritize Safety and Joy: monitor the environment and follow safety protocols.
• Communication: engage children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
